Description

This listing is for a pair of GM accessory windshield defrosters, as seen in the 1939 Chevrolet Approved Accessories catalog. I'm sure these were still available in other years but I only found them listed in the '39 book. I don't think they were ever used, seeing as one still has the original LOF glass sticker on it, but they have no box, the suction cups that would have been used to attach them to the windshield are missing, one set of heating elements is not installed in the housing and only one wiring pigtail is included (plugs into a light bulb socket in the dash) But the glass is excellent, the frames have some flaked off paint but are solid and they have good rubber inserts in them yet. A neat collectible if you're into rare Chevy accessory stuff from before WWII. Shipping for this item will be $16 anywhere in the continental US.
